In 1987 Fenland became the first laundry to achieve
registration to the BS5750 ISO 9001 quality standards.
The registration is specific to the provision of workwear
on rental for the food, pharmaceutical and microelectronics industries
and emphasises the specialised nature of Fenland’s operation.

garments which are hygienically processed for food

Fenland Production
The production cycle has been designed to:
- Minimise foreign body contamination.
- Reduce the bio burden on processed garments to extremely low levels
utilising thermal disinfection and a controlled production environment.
- Produce a visually clean and attractive, high quality, crease free finish, every time.
Fenland’s processing plants are built and operated to achieve these
aims. Each stage of the process is continually monitored and checked
to ensure these results are reassuringly obtained for every batch.
